Flex 5000 Noise Blanker
This new noise just showed up this week on 10 though 20 meter band. I have switched off each breaker in my electrical panel to see if it was something in my home but it sounds like
it is coming from somewhere in the neighborhood.
If you have heard this type of noise before let me know. The video shows how well the Flex Silagra Radio noise blanker can get rid of many unwanted noises.

The last time I delt with something similar, it was a neighbors air conditioner going bad. Actually the power company helped me find it with there equipment. I went away with the AC repair. 73//Rich//KE6QK//

That sounds like a nextel to me, but they have to be VERY close to be picked up. I have a fence charger, but that is usually a little slower than that (possible though)… Also, since it is on my property I can hear it very well and it is usually more prominent in the lower bands…
